[Saint Cloth Myth] Saori Kido / Athena Premium Myth Accessories

New photos of Athena have been posted on the Tamashii Website and they show a really promising figure to come ou next February. This really makes you wish they had not pushed it back a few months as normally premium myths are released in the autumn. However, this will really be worth the wait, the figure is absolutely superb and just look at the size of this throne, I'll never find space for it on my display cabinets (lol).

Check out the pictures posted so far on the campaign website at http://www.jp-network.co.jp/saori/

I heard this figure is only for those in Japan, and you're supposed to buy this with coupons from other myth cloth boxes.
I heard this directly from the product department at Hobby Link Japan.
So this is only for those who has coupons and have to live in Japan?

If you want the Japanese version then yes you have to buy it with coupons and get it delivered to an address in Japan.

However, just like every other premium, it'll be released in Hong Kong for a reasonable price without the need for coupons and deliverable worldwide. Check www.angolz.com for example.

will there be a quality difference between the hong kong ver. and japan ver.??
or maybe I should wait for any japanese who would sell it on ebay. lol
whats your plan?

There is no quality difference at all. All myth, premium or not, are manufactured in the Bandai factory in China (not sure where precisely). All that changes (slightly) is the outer packaging but the figurine itself is exactly the same. They put marks in the back of the bodies meant for the Japanese market but otherwise it's the same quality. I'll probably get it off an HK reseller since a Japanese version from a reseller who got it from coupons would be far too overpriced anyway.

Should I cancel it and get it at Angolz?

I've ordered quite a few myth cloths from eBay. You can get some pretty good deals there if you know where to look. Basically, it's up to you how much you want to spend but as I said, all the figurines will be the same. If you bought from a serious seller then don't worry about it and keep an eye on your letter box :)

thank you so much for your kind answers.
The seller seems to sell alot of myth cloths on ebay, and he has a 100% possitive feedbacks.
I will let you know how the item is when I get em.
And give you the ID for recommendation if you're planning on purchasing on ebay.
Thank you once again.
